DRIVER’S EDUCATION COURSE
PURPOSE
The TGNC Driver’s Education Course offers support during the permit process, supervised driving practice, as well as a vehicle for practice driving and the on-the-road test. Course instruction depends on the student’s phase in the licensing process (see steps below). The course takes place in northern New Jersey where licensed driver Tahtianna Fermin provides supervised driving for 2-3 hours/day. All services are flexible to the student’s schedule and offered free of charge.

New Jersey Driver Licensing Steps
Take your knowledge test
Practice driving for 6 months after you pass your knowledge test (3 months if you’re over 21)
Take your road test
Get your Probationary Driver’s License.
Practice unsupervised driving for 1 year, then upgrade your probationary license to a basic license online
